NEXT TIME YELLOW is the first full length group recording I have done (of my own music) at my home studio, ITA Studios. NTY is an offshoot of the many jam sessions we have had at my place over the last few years, where we workshop and play each other's original material. I decided to try my hand at engineering a few of my own favorite original compositions and did most of the tracking in one day. During brief periods of time when I was home from the road, I did some woodwind overdubs, had some other folks in to lay down some sounds and, voila! Here it is. All of these players are living in Nashville now, with the exception of Tim Reynolds and the members of Heritage OP, and the improvisation scene here is thriving. These are some of the finest musicians I have had the pleasure to work with. My deepest thanks to them all!
